You may ask yourself: what is Table Appreciation Weekend anyhow? This special weekend is the pre-party to Extra Life’s Game Day, their main event in November. This event brings gamers from all around the country together to go on a 24-hour gaming marathon to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This Tabletop Appreciation Weekend is specifically focused on all things tabletop whether it be modern, classic, or pen and pencil.
Here at the Meeple we have our own way of celebrating. We will be running two limited RPGs and entry into either role-playing session requires a donation to Extra Life of $20 or more. Stop in and sign up at the Malted Meeple starting today, as seats for these sessions are sure to fill up fast!
ALL the proceeds from this buy-in go toward Extra Life. The $20 donation will secure you a spot at the table and cover your table fee to play games before or after. From 2-6 PM there will be a Zombie World session and from 4-8 PM there will be a Dungeons and Dragons session. You will not only enjoy a full night of gaming for your $20 donation, but you become part of the Extra Life community!
Starting at 8 PM, we will have a social deduction/party game event hosted by one of our very own staff members! You will meet new people, play games like Werewolf and Ca$h n’ Guns, and discover just how sly you really are! Entry into the social deduction room requires a donation to Extra Life of $10 or more per slot and will also cover your table fee to play games before 8 PM!
Stop in any time on Saturday for your chance to win an exclusive Malted Meeple package in our Tabletop Appreciation Raffle! The lucky guest will take home a certificate for two waived table fees, two Escape Room tickets valid on either one of our Escape Room Adventures, and a voucher for a Mega Milkshake! Tickets will be sold for $1 or 6 tickets for $5. Tickets will be available for purchase all day and the winner will be drawn at midnight. The winner does not need to be present to claim their prize.
Last but not least, this weekend marks the return of the exclusive #ForTheKidsShake! This rare shake only appears during our Extra Life events, so stop in during the weekend to try it before it disappears again! The Malted Meeple donates 50% of the proceeds from each #ForTheKidsShake to Extra Life!
