McAlpine Meadery at the Malted Meeple

07/23/2019

Here at the Malted Meeple we love to switch things up. We pride ourselves in bringing our guests the best products from local businesses we know and love.  We are in a constant rotation of change with our beer and wine selections and are proud to present the newest addition to our lineup. Hailing from Beach City, Ohio, McAlpine Meadery officially made its debut at the Malted Meeple this past weekend!

McAlpine Meadery is more than just a place to go and drink mead. They have complimentary popcorn, a pool table, and darts! Not only that, but their event list is jam-packed with live music, open mic nights, parties, and mead tastings. Guests love the amazing hospitality they receive when visiting the Meadery and the huge selection of flavors. One of the most notable is called Dragon’s Breath – made with cinnamon and habaneros, this one is not for the faint of heart!

The Malted Meeple is currently offering not one, not two, but FIVE different flavors of McAlpine meads. The flavor Blood of My Enemies is a fruity mead that is made with blood orange, a perfect choice to sip and enjoy on our patio after defeating all your friends at a game of Catan. The Sweet White Grape mead is made from Moscato juice with hints of apple, peach, and pear. Wicked Peach is sweet and summery and made with, you guessed it, peaches. The fourth flavor is Black Currant and it boasts the flavors of currant juices and wildflower honey. The final flavor we offer from McAlpine is Hopped. This flavor is a dry style of mead with hops and hints of citrus. If you love IPAs, chances are you’ll love this mead!

What will your favorite flavor be? Not sure which to try? Why not give several a shot, mix and match your top four in a flight! We’ll see you this week at the Malted Meeple!

She spent her college days trekking around Franklin Hall at Kent State University where she pursued her degree in marketing and advertising. Her passion for guest satisfaction and love for event planning led her to the Malted Meeple and Ravenwood Castle.
