Volunteers Needed – Origins Game Fair 2019

02/26/2019

It’s time to start planning for the biggest gaming convention in Ohio – Origins Game Fair! This year the show runs from Wednesday, June 12 through Sunday, June 16, 2019.

We are looking for energetic and outgoing volunteers to join our convention team in spreading the word about The Malted Meeple and Ravenwood Castle to the tens of thousands of gaming enthusiasts who attend Origins Game Fair every year.

Volunteers will be helping out in our booth in the Origins Exhibit Hall, which is open from 10 AM to 6 PM Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and 10 AM to 4 PM on Sunday. We will reimburse the cost of the badge for the event for any volunteer providing a total of 16 (or more) volunteer hours over the course of the convention. Volunteers will also be provided with branded t-shirts to wear during their shifts.

We typically schedule our volunteers for one four hour shift each day, so that they have plenty of free time to enjoy the convention! Learn some new games, get sneak peeks at unreleased titles, and even enter a gaming tournament! Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow gamers as the Greater Columbus Convention Center is turned into a Gamer’s Amusement Park! Gaming events go all night so you will certainly find something to do in your downtime from volunteering.

Interested individuals should contact us via email (info@maltedmeeple.com) with their availability and contact information.
