Draft Spotlight Resilience IPA – Brewing for a Cause

One of the reasons we love the craft beer community is how a shared love of the art of brewing (and the results of that artistic process!) brings people together towards a common goal. Usually that goal is making delicious brews and enjoying the company of fellow beer lovers. But sometimes there is a greater purpose that calls us together and that is when magic happens.

The recent wildfire that swept across northern California engulfing over 153,000 acres, destroying towns and communities in its path and resulting in at least 86 deaths has caught the nation’s attention as the deadliest wildfire in California history. It has affected many lives and displaced well over 14,000 families, including many employees from the Sierra Nevada Brewing company in Chico, CA.

Sierra Nevada Brewing stepped up to help their immediate community with a special brew to raise money for the relief efforts of the Camp Fire. But they didn’t just stop with their local community, they have reached out to the broader craft beer community by sharing their recipe for Resilience IPA and inspiring over 1,400 other breweries in the country to create their own version of the Resilience IPA to also help raise funds for the Sierra Nevada Camp Fire Relief Fund.

We are proud to have been able to work with Missing Mountain Brewing Co right here in Cuyahoga Falls, OH to get their version of Resilience IPA on tap!

Come in to enjoy this American style IPA and pair it with the cooperative game experiences of Hot Shots (Fireside Games) and Flash Point: Fire Rescue (Indie Boards and Cards) to honor the fire fighters and communities who have sacrificed so much in the wake of these devastating fires.
