June Brewery Spotlight – Brooklyn Brewery

06/26/2018

Raise a pint to Brooklyn Brewery our Brewery of the Month for June! As their name suggests, they are based out of Brooklyn, NY, a community known for creativity, big ideas, and beer. This brewery is named after the Brooklyn Eagle newspaper in homage to the neighborhood co-founders Steve & Tom love, and partly to Steve’s prior career in war correspondence for the Associated Press.

Their tasty concoctions include traditional lagers, experimental ales, and IPAs, and have been shared in their beloved NY borough for over 30 years.

The Brooklyn Lager is an amber-gold lager beer in the “Vienna” style that was quite popular in the 1800s heyday of Brooklyn breweries when the neighborhood hosted more than 45 breweries, one of the largest brewing centers in the Unites States at the time!

Other perennial favorites for Brooklyn Brewery include the Bel Air Sour, a sour ale with tropical fruit notes that finishes crisp and tart, and their Summer Ale, a sunny pale ale made to complement your warm weather adventures with a snappy bitterness and bright aroma.

Every year their golden ale, The Defender IPA, debuts a new superhero on the bottles and marks their commitment to being a champion for the arts, music, and community efforts and culture of their beloved home, Brooklyn, NY.

Join us for one of Brooklyn Brewery’s summery offerings and enjoy it on the patio with your friends around your favorite board game!
