Launching Soon – Werewolf the Wild West

03/21/2017

The Malted Meeple fan-favorite Werewolf is back! But this time the lycanthropes are headed back in time and down under!

Werewolf: The Wild West is a campaign that mirrors the late 1800s in Sydney, Australia. In this World of Darkness setting, many supernatural creatures exist but remain hidden from the human population. According to legend, the first werewolves were created to try and protect the natural world (Gaia) from the forces of corruption (The Wyrm). Players take on the roles of these defenders of nature and together they will face off against vampires, mages, corruption, and the encroachment of civilization. The campaign will begin as a spiritual rite of passage as the players are forced to survive in the wild. Along the way they will need to reaffirm their connection to Gaia and the intangible spiritual world around them.

The return of Werewolf to the Meeple features not one, but two separate campaigns, running on opposite weeks. The first campaign, launching on March 24th, will be geared towards newer players and pre-generated characters will be provided. This group will focus primarily on mystical investigation and solving problems involving the spiritual world. The second campaign, launching on March 31st, will be geared more towards intermediate gamers who have some familiarity with the World of Darkness setting and system. This group will focus on taking the fight to The Wyrm, the embodiment of corruption. They will also focus on healing the wounds of the past, both physically and spiritually, while restoring old alliances.

We hope you will come out to the Malted Meeple March 24th or March 31st for the epic return of Werewolf: The Wild West! Both campaigns begin at 7:00 PM.

Please note: due to the somewhat darker nature of this game, players must be 18 or older.
