Extra Life Game Day 2016!

Extra Life Game Day 2016!

10/25/2016

Can you believe it’s almost November? In fact it is only two weeks until Extra Life’s annual Game Day on November 5th! As Extra Life is our favorite charity, we will of course be participating in this event.

All weekend long we will feature the return of our custom #ForTheKidsShake, a special milkshake available only during Extra Life events. Stop in any time during the weekend and purchase a #ForTheKidsShake. The Malted Meeple will donate 50% of each shake sold to Extra Life and the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals!

On Saturday we will also be bringing back our Meeple Cares Marathon. This year’s event will be a 12 hour Star Wars Edge of the Empire role playing game marathon, featuring the Beyond the Rim campaign! We will host two spotlight tables of up to six players each. Entry into the marathon requires a donation to Extra Life of $40 or more. Sign up at the Meeple starting today, these seats are already filling fast!

We set ourselves an aggressive fundraising goal for our 2016 Meeple Cares campaign – we are aiming to raise $10,000 for Extra Life and local children’s hospitals. We are well on our way, having raised $8,925 for the benefit of Akron Children’s Hospital so far! Join us the weekend of November 4th – 6th for Extra Life Game Day Appreciation weekend and help us hit the goal!

If you are unable to join us for the weekend but would still like to help, visit www.extra-life.org/ participant/meepleakronchildrens and click the donate button. Your tax deductible donation will go straight to Akron Childrens Hospital!
