It’s no secret that we are big fans of all things Plaid Hat. Perhaps first amongst our plaid favorites is Dead of Winter. Both Dead of Winter and Dead of Winter: The Long Night are permanent residents in the Malted Meeple library, and go to games in our personal libraries as well.
These games hit the table so often at the Meeple that we just knew we had to do whatever we could to bring our guests even more Dead of Winter. How is that possible you might ask? We’re teaming up with our friends at Plaid Hat to bring our guests a special treat. During the month of October, Professor Meeple’s Game Lab will proudly host playtesting for the upcoming Dead of Winter expansion, Warring Colonies!
A representative from Plaid Hat will be joining us at the Malted Meeple Thursday, October 6th at 7:00 PM to run the first playtest session. They will leave the prototype with us, and we will be sharing it with you every Thursday evening for the rest of the month!
So come out to the Malted Meeple every Thursday in October and try out the latest expansion for Dead of Winter. Not only will you get a sneak peek at an extremely anticipated expansion, but your feedback will help our friends at Plaid Hat Games make the expansion even better!
We can’t wait to see you at Professor Meeple’s Game Lab: Dead of Winter: Warring Colonies!
If you happen to be unfamiliar with Dead of Winter, check out our Ravenwood Castle blog post featuring it as the Game of the Month for March 2014, then get to the Meeple and give it a play!
