It is no exaggeration to say that The Malted Meeple has become a roleplaying hotspot. We regularly and consistently host Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Shadowrun, Star Wars: Edge of the Empire, Dark Heresy, and Through the Breach, as well as several other systems.
But it really began with Dungeons & Dragons, arguably the most well-known of any roleplaying system available today. We began hosting Dungeons & Dragons on Wednesdays at The Malted Meeple with one table and one Dungeon Master, or as we prefer to call them – Dungeon Meeple. These sessions have developed quite the following, as in a little over a year Dungeons & Dragons night has grown to eight tables!
We have had the great pleasure and honor of introducing many new gamers to the world of the Forgotten Realms. And we are delighted that many of these gamers have taken up the mantle of Dungeon Meeple and now run tables of their own! We are also pleased that many friendships have been forged during milkshake-fueled expeditions into perilous dungeons.
Due to this success, we are pleased to announce that we are inviting all interested and willing adventurers to join us on our next big adventure:
We are adding a second night of Dungeons & Dragons!
Yes, you read that right! So grab your dice and a friend and join us for Monday Night Expeditions! While Wednesday night will continue to feature two hour sessions, Monday Night Expedition sessions will be four hours! As with all of our role playing events, these sessions will be friendly to newer players, while still offering a challenge for experienced players.
We are excited to begin the next chapter in Dungeons & Dragons here at The Malted Meeple! The first sessions will begin Monday, June 13th at 7:00 pm.
You sling the spells, we’ll sling the drinks! See you there!
Karington Hess is a lifelong gamer whose passions for hospitality and all things game-related led him to Ravenwood Castle, where he served as an Innkeeper before joining The Malted Meeple. When not pouring beers, crafting milkshakes, or teaching boardgames, Karington can be found behind the DM’s screen, weaving intricate stories for his fellow gamers.
