Role Playing is an important part of what we do here at The Malted Meeple. Given the outstanding reception we’ve received to our various role playing offerings, it’s important to many of you as well.
In fact, some of you enjoy role playing so much that you’ve volunteered your time to help us run even more role playing sessions. We call these stalwart few DMs. No, not Dungeon Masters – Dungeon Meeples!
We’re looking for more folks who would like to share their game mastering talents. Do you enjoy telling a great interactive story? Are you the one your friends look to when it’s time to run a campaign? Do you feel most at home behind a game master’s screen?
Then you may have what it takes to join the few, the proud, the Dungeon Meeples!
Our new Dungeon Meeple program is designed to reward those who volunteer to run scheduled role playing games here at The Malted Meeple. Oh don’t get us wrong, we know you run the games for the sheer love of doing so, but we want to give you a little something extra as well!
What are the benefits of being a Dungeon Meeple?
For starters, when you’re running a session for us we waive your table fee (of course!), and lubricate the story telling with a free milkshake (or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice). But the benefits don’t stop there. We also award one DM point per hour.
What are DM points used for? We’re glad you asked! As you gain DM points, you will unlock a variety of benefits, including:
- At 25 points, you receive a free Malted Meeple “Come Play” t-shirt.
- At 50 points, you will receive a Malted Meeple “Dungeon Meeple” t-shirt. This custom shirt is not available for sale, and can only be obtained by certified Dungeon Meeples.
- At 100 points, you will be eligible for a free one year individual membership.
- At 200 points, your individual membership will be upgraded to a family membership.
- At 250 points, you will receive something so amazingly awesome we can’t even print it here!
How does one become a Dungeon Meeple?
One does not simply become a Dungeon Meeple. There is a rigorous application and audition process. If you think you have what it takes, email us at info@maltedmeeple.com. Let us know what system or systems you’d be interested in running, and we will work with you to schedule an audition.
