Halloween at the Meeple

Spooky season has come and gone in the blink of an eye! Trust us – we can hardly believe it either.

Don’t fear if you feel like you haven’t gotten your fill of spookiness. The Malted Meeple still has a handful of activities, games, and snacks to get you in the Halloween spirit over the next few days.

Snag some seasonal beers while you still can like Spooky Tooth by Fat Head’s, Pumking by Southern Tier, or Oktoberfest by North High. All of our fall beers pair perfectly with our seasonal Cinnamon Roll popcorn – caramel vanilla popcorn drizzled with white chocolate and cinnamon. And as far as our famous handcrafted milkshakes go, you still have time to try one of our specialty Goosebumps-themed shakes. Whether you want to try The Haunted Mask (Pistachio, Pineapple, Mallow), Go Eat Worms (Fudge Oreo), or get a milkshake flight of all the monthly flavors, the decision is yours!

If you’re looking to try your hand at a new game, here are some of our recommendations:

Tower of Madness: 3-5 players, ages 14+, 30-45 minutes
In Tower of Madness, a three-dimensional clock tower standing a foot tall and filled with marbles of four distinct colors, stands before you. Thirty unworldly tentacles push through the tower walls in every direction in this high-tension, push-your-luck dice game of Lovecraft-inspired horror.

Mysterium: 2-7 players, ages 10+, 45 minutes
One player takes the role of the ghost while everyone else represents a medium. To solve the crime, the ghost must first recall (with the aid of the mediums) all of the suspects present on the night of the murder. A number of suspects, location, and murder weapon cards are placed on the table and the ghost randomly assigns one of each of these in secret to a medium.

Betrayal at the House on the Hill: 3-6 players, ages 12+, 60 minutes
Betrayal at House on the Hill is a tile game that allows players to build their own haunted house room by room, tile by tile, creating a new thrilling game board every time.

And last but not least, if you’re looking to do something unique, safe, AND challenging this Halloween, reserve your spot for our Trick-or-Treat Escape Rooms today!
