Drop It Logo

This month we feature Drop It, the latest release from our friends at Thames & Kosmos, as our Game of the Month. Drop It is an abstract strategy game for two to four players or for two teams. One of the things we are passionate about here at Ravenwood Castle and The Malted Meeple is craft beer. We pride ourselves on having an excellent assortment of craft beers for the enjoyment of our guests. In our monthly blog feature, the Brewer’s Spotlight, we raise our pints to the men and women who dedicate themselves to the brewing craft. In April we raise a pint to our friends from MadTree Brewing, based in nearby Cincinnati, Ohio. MadTree was founded in 2013 on the principal that “beer builds community and community builds beer.” The brewery was the first to can craft beer in Ohio, and opened their new production brewery and taproom in February of 2017! So where does MadTree get its name from? Well,…

Red Raven Games

This month, we shine our Publisher’s Spotlight on our friends from Red Raven Games. Although Red Raven Games was officially started by Ryan Laukat in the basement of his home, this Sandy, Utah based gaming-company really originated in Ryan’s childhood. Red Raven Games was brought to life, with the mission to “give players a chance to escape to a new world and enjoy that experience with their…
