Extra Life Game Day Weekend 2017!

Extra Life Game Day Weekend 2017!

10/23/2017

Extra Life’s annual Game Day is coming up on November 4th. As always, we will be participating in our own special way – with marathon role playing and awesome milkshakes!

All weekend long we will be featuring the return of our popular #ForTheKidsShake, a special milkshake available only during Extra Life events. Stop in any time during the weekend and purchase a #ForTheKidsShake. The Malted Meeple will donate 50% of each shake sold to Extra Life and the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals!

On Saturday we will once again be hosting our annual Meeple Cares Marathon. This year’s event will be a 12 hour Star Wars Force and Destiny role playing game marathon, featuring the Ghosts of Dathomir campaign! We will host two spotlight tables of up to six players each. Entry into the marathon requires a donation to Extra Life of $40 or more. Sign up at the Meeple starting today, these seats will fill up fast!

At the beginning of 2017 we set ourselves an aggressive goal for our 2017 Meeple Cares campaign – we aimed to raise $10,000 for Extra Life and local children’s hospitals. We started off with an amazing turn out at the annual Hoop & Stick Convention, and followed up with an incredible Extra Life Tabletop Appreciation weekend. The first two events were so well received that we’ve actually hit our goal, and have already raised $10,754 for the benefit of Akron Children’s Hospital!

But we’re not going to let something as silly as achieving our goal stop us, now are we? Join us November 3rd – 5th for Extra Life Weekend, and let’s finish the year out strong!
