Extra Life TableTop Appreciation Weekend 2016!

08/18/2016

Extra Life has announced their second annual TableTop Appreciation weekend, September 16th through 18th. As Extra Life is our favorite charity here at the Malted Meeple, you might assume we will be participating again this year – and you’d be right!

Extra Life raised the bar this year, extending the TableTop Appreciation event to an entire weekend. We can’t let a challenge like that go unanswered, so we’re raising our own bar as well!

In addition to this year’s spotlight marathon (more on that in a moment) we are creating a brand new milkshake just for Extra Life! Stop in any time during the weekend and enjoy a #ForTheKidsShake, and the Malted Meeple will donate 50% of each shake sold to Extra Life and the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals!

Try a #ForTheKidsShake, for the kids’ sake!

On Saturday we will also be bringing back our Meeple Cares Marathon. This year’s event will be a 12 hour Dungeons & Dragons marathon, featuring the debut of the Storm King’s Thunder campaign! We will host two spotlight tables of up to six players each. Entry into the marathon requires a donation to Extra Life of $30 or more. Sign up at the Meeple starting today, these seats are sure to go fast!

At the beginning of the year we set ourselves an aggressive goal for our 2016 Meeple Cares campaign – we are aiming to raise $10,000 for Extra Life and local children’s hospitals. We are well on our way, having raised $8,236 for the benefit of Akron Children’s Hospital so far! Join us September 16th – 18th for TableTop Appreciation weekend and help push us over the top.

#ForTheKids!
